After having set up a promotion, you can offer it to customers by following the instructions in this article. To see how to set up a promotion, see How to Set up a Promotion.
1. Go to Operations > Sales > Sales.
2. Enter a customer name in the Customer field. In the Item field, scan or enter the name of an item you have already set as part of a promotion group. You will see a note about the promotion in the Sales field.
3. Press Enter or click on Tender to go to the Payment screen and process the sale as per usual.
4. If a customer purchases part of the required quantity to receive a promotional item, a pop-up window will remind you that if the purchase quota is made, the customer is eligible for a free item(s).
