Before you begin:


    Before uploading your products from ACE to Shopify, make sure that your product information is error-free and that you've associated all information necessary for your products (including images).



Uploading a product to webstore:


- To upload a product, simply highlight the product listed in the Web Inventory table view and click the Upload Item(s) to Webstore button.

- To upload multiple products as a batch, use the SHIFT OR CTRL key on your keyboard to select multiple products from the Web Inventory table view.


NOTE:

  • ACE can upload a maximum of 100 products in a batch BUT it is recommended to uploaded between 10 to 20 products in a batch. 
  • Never DELETE products in Webstore that were uploaded from ACE.




Uploading a Matrix product:


Matrix products are identified by this icon in the Inventory Table view:

  • To view the variants in a matrix product, simply double-click on the product.

To upload a matrix product, simply highlight the product listed in the Web Inventory table view and click the Upload Item(s) to Webstore button.


NOTE:

  • Limitation from Shopify: You can create up to 100 variants for a product. Each product can have up to 3 options. The options can be different from product to product. For example, one product can use size, color, and style, and another product can use weight, finish, and material.
  • ACE now has the option to automatically update additional matrix variants (e.g. additional colours to an existing colour dimension) that have inventory on hand to Shopify from ACE on existing webstore items posted using the ACE-Shopify integration. Please note that if you have already uploaded a matrix product with 1 dimension (i.e. Color) and you decide to add a new dimension (i.e. Size) with options (i.e. Small, Medium, Large), ACE will NOT automatically upload these new information to the product in Shopify. You will need to Delete the Item from Webstore and re-upload it.
  • If you are using 4 matrix dimensions in ACE, due to the limitation within Shopify of only 3 dimensions, you will need to make changes to your matrix within ACE to be able to integrate your matrix items to Shopify. Please contact the ACE POS Support Team for more details regarding the option to automatically merge 3rd and 4th dimensions in ACE to 1 single dimension to allow for matrix integration with an integrated Shopify store. Please note that this option is only recommended for ACE users with integrated Shopify stores and that have 4-dimensional products and need to retain their past sales history. This option is NOT recommended for any other customers as it is irreversible once it is utilized in ACE.

Uploading a new product



  • New products added manually from the Inventory screen are uploaded to Shopify automatically if the Auto upload new added product to Web Store is enabled in the Webstore Integration > Setup > Settings tab

NOTE:  

  • This feature will not give you the ability to associate the images to the product before its uploaded to Shopify. Once the product is uploaded to Shopify (without images), you will need to go to the Web Inventory screen, search the product uploaded, associate the images to the product and update the product.


Updating a product:



  • If you have uploaded a product from ACE to Shopify and a month later you need to update some of the fields available in the Webstore Integration > Setup > Update Options tab, make sure that the fields that you need to update are enabled in this tab and then click on the Update Item(s) to Webstore from the Web Inventory screen.

NOTE:

  • If you update the path of an image for a product that was uploaded, ACE will NOT auto-update the product image in Shopify. You must manually update this by clicking on the Update Item(s) to Webstore button.



Manually updating the Price/Qty of a product



  • If you find that the price and quantity for products uploaded are not accurate, you can manually update by selecting one or multiple products and clicking the Update Price/Qty button.


Viewing a product uploaded to Webstore



  • To preview the product that was uploaded from ACE, click on the View Item on Webstore button. This will open your default web browser and will display the product uploaded to your TAKU E-Commerce or Shopify store.



Hiding a product already uploaded to Webstore



  • If you don't want a product shown online that was uploaded from ACE, highlight the product you want to hide in the Web Inventory table view and click the Hide Item from Webstore button.
  • When hiding a product that was uploaded from ACE to Shopify, ACE is just removing the check mark for the Online Store option in the product's Sales Channels in Shopify.

To show the product in Shopify again, simply re-upload the product by clicking the Upload item(s) to Webstore button.


NOTE:

  • While the product is hidden, if the ACE-Shopify integration is set to auto-update inventory quantities, ACE will automatically keep the product's quantity updated.
  • You can only hide product manually one at a time from ACE.



Deleting a product already uploaded to Webstore



To completely delete a product from TAKU E-Commerce or Shopify that was uploaded from ACE, highlight the product you want to delete in the Web Inventory table view and click the Delete Item from Webstore button.

NOTE:

  • This operation will NOT delete the product from ACE.
  • You can only delete one product at a time
  • Never DELETE products in Webstore that were uploaded from ACE.
